The SquameScan™ 850A was developed in collaboration with partners from pharmaceutical research and enables analysis of the protein content in the stratum corneum in a matter of seconds using tape stripping.
The measurement is performed optically in the infrared range (850 nm) and avoids thermal influences and interference from ambient light.
The sample remains completely intact and can be used for further bioassays – efficient, reproducible, and cost-effective.
