Densitometer
Precise measurement of optical density allows for quick optimization of film and paper exposure and development. Monitoring technical processes on transparent materials is also easy, as thickness and optical density correlate. Measurements up to 6 logD (<1/1000000 transmission) can be reliably determined with special versions of our devices. The devices generally operate monochromatically in the visual range and can be individually adapted to the task at hand.

Device variations
The standard diameter of the measuring field is 3 mm in accordance with the applicable standard. LEDs are used to illuminate the measuring field and provide stable light throughout the device’s lifetime.
