Precision that creates knowledge.

For laboratories, universities, and research institutions

For research, education, and laboratories that count on reliable results.

Whether in medical analysis, quality control, or education—precision is the foundation of all knowledge.

Heiland Vision develops optical measuring systems that simplify complex processes, deliver reproducible results, and provide reliable support to researchers.

Every device is created with the same conviction as our darkroom systems: only those who truly understand light can use it to measure, design, and discover.

Heiland Vision Logo

from image to science – light as a measuring variable.

Heiland Vision combines decades of experience in analog photography with modern optical measurement technology. Our systems for research and laboratory applications are the result of precise engineering work, developed to make light, density, and material properties measurable. The goal is always the same: reliable data, intuitive operation, and durable devices that simplify everyday life in the laboratory.

Our systems for research and analysis

In addition to proven densitometry technology, Heiland Vision has developed a unique measurement system for dermatological analysis in close cooperation with research institutions.

The SquameScan 850A enables the protein content in the stratum corneum to be determined in seconds – quickly, precisely, and without destroying the sample.

The system demonstrates how optical precision and engineering expertise from Wetzlar can be combined to create practical solutions for research and medicine.

Contact us

Many of our developments arise from specific research requests, such as the SquameScan™ 850A, which was developed in collaboration with Pentapharm (DSM Group). We are open to collaborations with universities, research institutions, and laboratories that want to develop new applications for optical measurement technology. Whether it’s a prototype, a special development, or the adaptation of existing systems, we work in partnership, with precision and a focus on solutions.
